1983 – Founding Years
DCUNHA WOOD WORKS was established by Late Mr. Raphael D’Cunha as a specialized carpentry business focused on wooden grills and frames for window air conditioners. With unmatched expertise, he became the first in Mumbai’s private sector to dominate this niche—holding a market monopoly through the 90s.
1990 – Growth of a Workforce
With demand soaring, the company scaled up to a team of 100 skilled workers. Mr. D’Cunha’s innovation in custom wooden AC fittings gave the firm a stronghold in residential and commercial AC installations.
1998–2000 – Adapting to HVAC Evolution
As Mumbai’s HVAC market shifted toward split AC systems, DCUNHA swiftly responded—venturing into fabrication for metal support frames. The company evolved its offerings beyond carpentry, entering the metal works segment.
2003 – A New Era with Rohan D’Cunha
Mr. Rohan D’Cunha joined the business under the new banner of M/s DCUNHA ENTERPRISE, focusing on fabrication for split and ductable AC systems. In 2005, he brought in technology—digitizing office operations and formalizing workflows.
2015 – Birth of DCUNHA FAB WORKS
With growing fabrication capabilities and a vision to diversify, the company rebranded to DCUNHA FAB WORKS, offering full-spectrum fabrication services for AC installations, HVAC support, and structural works.
